Nothing says fall more than homemade apple pie, and these mini apple pie pops make the perfect dessert for little hands on Thanksgiving.
These are simple to make and they look so cute when done. Try some! Your kids will thank you.

Apple Pie Pop Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 golden delicious apples, diced
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon salted butter
- 1⁄2 tablespoon flour
- Prepared pie crust (THIS IS THE EASY INGREDIENT, NO NEED TO MAKE HOMEMADE!!!)
- 2 egg whites

Directions:
In a small saucepan melt butter with flour to make a paste. Add in apples, lemon juice, and sugar.

Cook until apples are soft and can be mashed. This will be the pie filling.

Unfold prepared pie dough. Using a 2” circle or scalloped circle cookie cutter, cut out two circles for each pie pop.

Place 1⁄2 to 1 teaspoon of pie filling in cold pie crust circles. Place white stick over filling. Cover with the second pie crust circle.

Use a fork to crimp the edges. I added an additional mini heart to the front of each pop.

Brush pie pops with egg whites. This will help the pops reach a nice golden brown color. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
