Julie from Crowing Details styled a party filled with beautiful and budget-friends ballerina party ideas. She is here today to share how she did it. She also designed a set of free ballerina printables for us. Thank you, Julie! Now please, take it away…
When putting together this sweet, yet simple ballerina party design, we wanted to keep things modern, streamlined, easy to replicate, and affordable.
Our first detail, to anchor our dessert table, was this DIY ballerina hand-print painting created for the birthday girl’s room using Mom and Dad’s hand prints.
This keepsake is so personal, and it’s simple to recreate using a white canvas of any size, a template ballerina tutu bodice, and pink acrylic paint.
Next, to add a pop of color to our white table, we added a table runner made from wrapping paper that we found at Paper Source.
Paper runners are one of my favorite party details because you can find wrapping paper in virtually any color combination. It’s an affordable way to add a personalized touch to your party.
To give the dessert table dimension, we layered this fun paper tassel garland and our “Happy Birthday” banner and adhered them with 3D glue dots.
For sweets, we chose simple vanilla cupcakes with white icing, personalized with these fun gold glitter toppers.
And we also chose these amazing ballerina-inspired cake ball pops.
To make the birthday girl feel special, we served her cupcake in an individual pink cupcake server we found at Pottery Barn.
For added decor on the table, we also filled this adorable honeycomb bowl we stumbled upon in the Dollar Spot at Target, with stunning white and pink roses, framed a simple “Twinkle Toes” printable 8×10 sign (available here for download), and showcased pretty pink forks in a small round vase.
And finally, for party favors, we couldn’t resist these handcrafted candy wands filled with pink ombre candy that we personalized with our “You Make my Heart Twirl” favor tags (available for download).
This party was fun to put together, and I hope my ideas inspired you to create your own beautiful, budget-friendly ballerina party!
