To create a Yarn-Wrapped Ombre Monogrammed Letter craft with Yarn in 3 different shades of pink (light, medium, and dark) and Martha Stewart embellishments, you will need the following supplies:
- Wooden letter
- Yarn in 3 different shades of pink – light, medium, and dark
- Scissors
- Glue gun
- Martha Stewart embellishments (optional)
Note: The amount of yarn needed will depend on the size of the wooden letter used. A larger letter will require more yarn, while a smaller letter will require less. Be sure to have enough yarn to cover the entire letter.
How to Make an Easy Yarn-Wrapped Ombre Monogrammed Letter
Step 1: Apply the glue and wrap
Apply craft glue to the backside, the top, and the bottom of the letter. I glued about three inches, started wrapping, then added more glue as I moved up.
I left the ends of the yarn long until the whole thing had dried. Then I trimmed them.
Step 2: Embellish!
Add pretty embellishments. The ones I chose had sticky tape on the back, and I was done!
The whole thing probably took about an hour, and the longest part was waiting for the glue to dry.
Tips and Substitutions
