Now that spring is here, and it’s time to think about casual entertaining, I wanted to make some quick and easy chips with some serious “kick.”( If you had my husband who pretty much drinks hot sauce, you’d understand the need for these.)
I made these garlic chili pita chips to pair with some fresh guacamole. The combo of flavors makes me think of sitting by a pool on a warm day, hanging with friends, and having an awesome time.
The chips bring heat and crunch, the guacamole brings creaminess and touch of tangy tomato and chilies. You could seriously put this whole setup together in about 30 minutes, and the flavors are bold, fresh, and feel like spring.

Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut off the outside edge of each pita. Pull both sides of the pita apart.
