Painted Mason Jar Easter Bunny DIY
What you need:
- White spray paint
- Acrylic paint
- Foam paint brush
- Yarn
- Glitter pom poms
- Black Sharpie or permanent chalk marker
- Easter grass
- Candy
- Craft foam
- Scissors
- Glue
Directions:
Spray paint the mason jars with a white base paint. The base will help the acrylic paint stick better to the jars.
I used a satin, multi-surface aqua blue and a metallic champagne acrylic craft paint. Use a sponge paint brush to paint the colors onto the jars. 2-3 coats of paint should give the jars good coverage.
Wrap yarn around the top of the jar for a decorative touch! Secure into place with hot glue.
With a black sharpie or permanent black chalk marker, draw on the bunnies eyes and whiskers. Glue a mini glitter pom pom on for the nose.
From white craft foam, cut two bunny ears. With pink craft felt, cut two smaller inner ears. Glue the pink felt to the white craft foam ears. Use hot glue to attach the bunny ears onto the inside of the mason jars.
Fill the jars with fresh flowers or Easter grass and candy!
