Today we are sharing an inexpensive Peppermint Centerpiece DIY from Nancy at A to Zebra Celebrations! Take it away, Nancy…
Hello friends! My name is Nancy and I’m excited to be here sharing my very first tutorial and it’s a super easy one! Christmas is my favorite time of the year.
I love to make most of the decorations for my home, so I’m going to share how I made this peppermint centerpiece for less than $10!
Supplies:
- 3 bags of Starlight Mints from Dollar Tree
- 1 bunch of poinsettias from the Dollar Tree
- Duct tape
- Empty box of Kool-Aid Jammers
- Christmas picks
- Piece of foam
- Paper shreds
- Hot glue gun
Directions:
Tape box with duct tape two times to make it sturdy.
I used my hot glue gun for each mint.
Put piece of foam inside and use hot glue to secure it. Insert your poinsettias as you desire and any additional Christmas picks you have.
That’s all my friends! There you have it……a pretty, affordable, and quick Christmas centerpiece for your table, fireplace, for a teacher’s gift, or perhaps to bring to a holiday party!
Thanks, Nancy! I love how this looks on your mantle with your ribbon garland!
