I just read about Heidi Klum and Seal’s white trash wedding and I love it. What I love is them poking fun at the whole celebrity wedding “thing” which has gotten so overblown.

Sometimes I feel like with all the pressure there is to make a wedding beautiful, unforgettable, and “perfect,” it can lose some of it’s fun, heart, and spontaneity. It’s nice to see people bringing that back. So the lesson here… if you need fun at your wedding, bring on the mullet (or at least loosen up just a little).

Miley Cyrus - Sweet 16

I’ve read a bunch of articles about Miley Cyrus’s Sweet 16, about how fabulous it was… her Elie Saab couture dress, her celebrity friends who came out to celebrate, the fireworks, the fans, the four song set. It’s hard not be jealous.

But just think, poor Miley had to work on her birthday and, come on, who wants to do that?! (Okay, okay… me.)

Party Hair

I’m hating my hair right now. My highlights are not only growing out leaving dark brown roots, but they’ve oxidized so they’re a horrible bright orange color. Anyway, whenever I’m in hair despair and don’t have the time and/or money to get a haircut and color, I look at pictures of other people’s hair and have serious follicle envy. So I found this link at InStyle of party hair and I’m obsessed with it.
